3D printing

3D printing or additive manufacturing technology is a way to create objects directly from a digital file. Traditional manufacturing relies on technologies that make objects directly from larger blocks, layers of material, or expensive molds. In contrast, 3D printing is the process of building objects layer by layer.

Three-dimensional printing, especially color printing, gives development engineers and designers the opportunity to have a clear insight into the design process, the ability to highlight various parameters, the ability to easily and early detect possible errors and their quick and effective correction.

Using these capabilities of 3D printers significantly shortens production time and increases the level of quality of models and prototypes.

How does a 3D printer work?

3D printers are mini systems with numerical control (NC) in three axes (x, y and z). The system software converts first 3D CAD draft u in cross-sections, ie thin layers of thickness 0,089–0,203 mm, which is chosen depending on the accuracy to be achieved.

The object (model) is then made in such a way that a special powder is applied in programmed thin layers in the workspace and secured with a powder binder (“printed”) to standard HP printer components starting with the bottom layer. Such a "print" can be monochrome or color. By selecting the type of powder and filling the model with different components (hardeners), users can create objects of different properties depending on the technical requirements that the model needs to meet (strength, elasticity, temperature endurance, etc.)
The software accepts 3D files created in formats .STL, .VRML, .PLY, .SFX., .OBJ, .STEP

Field of application

Field of application 3D printers are: architecture, design, jewelry, informatics, education, mechanical engineering, aeronautics, metallurgy, modeling, medicine, bio-modeling, geo-info systems, molecular chemistry, etc.

3D printing is represented in a large number of different production sectors, especially in the modern aviation industry, construction industry, automotive industry, shipbuilding, medicine, dentistry, film industry, various design and art fields, and even when it comes to food. It is not so important to list the areas of application as the quality implementation of 3D printing technologies in each of these industries.

What do we do?

Send a request

contact

Send us your 3D model in .stl, .step, .obj or .3mf format and explain its purpose. Leave the rest to us. If necessary, we will refine the digital 3D model and adjust it for 3D printing. If you do not have a 3D model, according to your sketches and explanations, we will create a 3D model optimized for 3D printing. Ideal for promotional material, prototypes, etc ...

Price

The price of a 3D print is determined based on the time and material selected. If you have a part that you want to replicate, you need to submit a part or photos with basic dimensions in order to make an offer. For promotional material it is necessary to submit a logo in vector format.
